Auto Care Association’s repair shop advisory committee, the Car Care Professionals Network (CCPN), has released a recommended best practices document for providers of repair shop education and training.
A forum of association member warehouse distributors, manufacturers, manufacturers’ representatives and CCPN created “Recommended Training Best Practices 2015” to help training providers understand “what works best” for repair shop staff, the Auto Care Association said.
The document includes recommendations on the role of the shop owner/manager in seeking and making training available and how shops prefer training delivery, scheduling, content coverage, cost and other suggestions for education and training effectiveness.
