#SEMA/GTE: The Hybrid Shop Continues Training Efforts

HybridShopCrawfordDuring Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week (AAIW) 2015 in Las Vegas, The Hybrid Shop discussed hybrid training/equipment plans for THS dealers and outlined opportunities from servicing hybrid vehicles.

The Hybrid Shop is offering programs including the THS Base Franchise Program, the NuVant Battery Conditioning Equipment Option and the AR&D Conditioning Equipment Option for additional battery conditioning equipment.

All of these programs are five-year agreements and offer 100% financing, training, marketing and brand ID support, customer leads, tech support and protected territory, according to The Hybrid Shop.

Hybrid cars present four revenue streams for tire dealers and automotive shops, said Dave Crawford, CEO of The Hybrid Shop. These revenue streams include hybrid maintenance, battery replacement and conditioning, additional vehicles, and referrals and retention by not sending hybrid vehicle owners back to car dealerships for service.

Starting with just two hybrid cars in 2002, there are now 70 new hybrid models available and more than 3 million Hybrid and electric vehicles in the U.S., Crawford noted.

The Hybrid Shop has 39 total locations – one in Puerto Rico, two in Singapore and the remainder in the U.S.
