Tire Centers Inc. (TCi) is now offering an app, Tire Inventory and Purchasing System, for independent tire dealers to view inventory and purchase tires online. The app is a mobile version of TCi’s online ordering system TIPS.
“Our customers increasingly have a need to conduct business using a mobile device; whether it’s to check product availability, view product information, or purchase tires right from their phones or tablets,” said Vickie Johnson, director of retail marketing for TCi. “Developing a TIPS mobile app was the next logical step for TCi in our digital strategy.”
Dealers can view live inventory, pricing and purchase directly through the app, TCi said. Additionally, the app allows dealers to access images, tire specs, and order history. The app also features a quick quote feature that enables retail price quoting to consumers, the company said.
The TIPS app is available for download in both the Apple and Android stores.
