Federal Tire Becomes Full ITMA Member

Taiwanese tire manufacturer Federal Tire Corp. has joined the Imported Tyre Manufacturers Association (ITMA), giving it access to regular updates on technical and legislative matters affecting the sale of tires within the EU, helping it to ensure its products remain fully compliant for sale.
“We are delighted to welcome another major, established global tire manufacturer into the ITMA ranks,” commented ITMA president Alfred Graham. “Despite being such a recognized international brand, Federal’s membership reinforces the extra levels of support and intelligence that tire manufacturers need when operating in Europe, and we look forward to being able to provide this assistance.”
Federal Tires’ global sales and marketing director Da-Wu Chen added: “Apart from the cutting-edge technology and outstanding total quality management that Federal Tires already owns, we believe that, to be an ITMA member and cooperate with it, Federal’s products could certainly penetrate European market and meet local customers’ expectation.” (Tyres & Accessories)
