Continental Tire the Americas has signed its first licensed ContiTreads Canadian retreader – Pneus et Rechapage Uni, Inc.

Pneus et Rechapage Uni has begun retreading truck tires with ContiTread brand flat precure treads at its facility in Richmond, Quebec, and supply any authorized Continental truck tire dealers throughout eastern Canada with ContiTread retreads, the tiremaker said.

“The Continental family of truck tires, especially its regional and traction products, sets them apart from other tire manufacturers,” said Pierre Dodier, general manager of Pneus et Rechapage Uni, Inc. “We are proud to set ourselves apart from other retreaders by being the first to offer their ContiTreads in Canada.”
