The Techno-Classica exhibition for vintage, classic and prestige vehicles is currently taking place in Germany, and at the show Apollo Vredestein is launching its new “Vredestein Classic” website.
In addition to giving visitors an opportunity to get to know its classic.vredestein.com site, the tiremaker is displaying its range of Vredestein brand classic tires at its show stand, including recent “Retro Rubber” magazine test winner, the Vredestein Sprint Classic.
Apollo Vredestein says the new website is especially designed for owners of vintage cars and offers a rich assortment of classic tires that combine the nostalgic look of yesteryear with the very latest technology. The site was developed as the classic tire segment has a very specific target audience. In addition to a general outline of the Vredestein Classic range, the site includes a tire selector that gives advice on the most suitable tires for nearly 4,000 different classic cars and modern classics. The dealer selector can then be used to quickly find the nearest dealer who can deliver the desired tires.
The American magazine “Retro Rubber” recently subjected three very popular tires in the classic segment to a series of tests. The Vredestein Sprint Classic took on the XZX Michelin and Firestone F560 and came out as the clear winner. The magazine praised the Vredestein Sprint Classic for its excellent braking performance, high level of comfort and low exterior noise. The Vredestein Sprint Classic is the most popular tire within Vredestein’s Classic range and is available in 18 sizes. For some time now, Vredestein also has been supplying the tire with a white sidewall in four sizes. During Techno-Classica, the Vredestein Sprint Classic will be showcased fitted on a DKW 3 = 6 F91 Monte Carlo and a super exclusive Citroën Le Dandy coupé, among others. (Tyres & Accessories)
