TGI Personnel Grows with New Leadership

Tire Group International has added several personnel to its international and domestic sales teams.

 

The international team hired Nelson Garces and Luis Betancur and the domestic team added Perry May to its staff.

 

Garces will serve as the company’s manager of its off highway division. Garces will lead TGI’s OTR sales initiatives throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and brings more than 10 years of OTR experience, having been a part of positioning the Michelin brand in that region.

Betancur joins TGI as a territory manager, and he will lead TGI’s sales efforts for Colombia, Paraguay and Uruguay. Betancur has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and more than 19 years of tire industry experience.

May will serve as manager for TGI’s off highway division. He will head TGI’s Astro Solid line launch for the North American market. He brings more than 37 years of tire industry experience, having worked as the vice president of sales for various manufactures throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
