Vianor Opens 1,000th Retail Location

Nokian Tyres' Vianor tire retail and car service chain, which operates in 24 countries, opened its 1,000th sales outlet, this one in Friedrichshafenin, Germany.

Nokian Tyres’ Vianor tire retail and car service chain, which operates in 24 countries, opened its 1,000th sales outlet. Nokian Tyres opened its 1,000th Vianor sales outlet on Nov. 16 in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

The new outlet in Friedrichshafenin, Germany, offers tire services and comprehensive car maintenance services. Located near the Austrian and Switzerland borders, the location has varying and demanding weather conditions with snowy winters of Central Europe, providing ideal conditions for selling winter tires, according to the tiremaker.

“Expanding the Vianor chain is an essential part of the growth strategy for Nokian Tyres. In addition to a strong position in the Nordic market, Vianor is by far the largest tire retail chain in the rapidly growing tire markets of Russia and Ukraine,” said Kim Gran, President and CEO of the Nokian Tyres group. “According to our strategy, we have also accelerated the growth of the Vianor chain in the important Central European markets, where we are looking forward to rapidly increasing demand for our products that operate reliably under all conditions, and for the continuously developing Vianor concept.”

Vianor is the largest tire retail chain in Nordic and Baltic countries, Russia and Ukraine, Nokian added.
