Chicago Pneumatic Adds 20 Air Tool Models

Chicago Pneumatic said it introduced 20 new high-performance air tool models based on customers’ requests for more models and specific jobs.

The new models include the CP7748 Brute Force impact wrench, which is the "most economical and powerful" 1/2-inch impact wrench in its class, according to company officials. Offering 922 foot-pounds of maximum real torque in reverse and extremely fast run-off, the new wrench is ideal for the tire industry. The CP7748 also is available with a two-inch extended anvil for use with flip sockets.

The new CP7759Q is the "most innovative 1/2-inch impact wrench in its class," according to the company. By combining new carbon-fiber technology with creative design, designers have maximized ergonomics to create a tool that is well-balanced and quiet. The tool’s Side to Side Technology (S2S) allows the operator to easily change between forward and reverse with one hand, Chicago Pneumatic added. It delivers 780 foot-pounds of maximum real torque, and includes an additional year of warranty – for a total of two years – when online tool registration is completed. It also is available with a two-inch extended anvil for use with flip sockets.

Rugged new models also have been added to the to the CP77X9 family. The CP7769 3/4-inch heavy-duty impact wrench is engineered to be compact, well-balanced, lightweight and with 1,440 foot-pounds of torque. These heavy-duty impact wrenches feature dual socket retention, with friction retainer ring and hole retainer for additional socket security. The new models also are available with a six-inch extended anvil (CP7769-6) or one-inch square drive (CP7769).

The new CP Nano Series rotary screw air compressor is built for high-efficiency, continuous operation and reduced operating costs in a compact, workspace-saving design. The series includes five models ranging from 3 to 15 hp to meet the demands of a wide range of automotive and light industrial applications. The CP Nano provides stable air output at 125 or 150 psig standard with high-efficiency airends/elements that produce drier, cooler air – up to 80% cooler than from a comparable piston compressor.

The company also announced a significant enhancement to its social media presence, including Facebook and YouTube, to appeal to younger generation technicians who desire more complete information, including how-to videos.
