Titan International plans to lay off another 48 workers at its Freeport, Ill., tire plant. The move follows the lay off of 36 employees at the plant in June.
Titan said that downturns in its core OTR and ag tire segments is the reason behind the employment moves.
“We all know the economy hasn’t been really good lately,” Don Hill of USW Local 745 told the local media. “But it’s always disappointing that they have to lay off.”
The AirCat 6420 1/4” and AirCat 6410 3/16” tools are available now from tool and equipment and industrial distributors.

This professional tool is designed for continuous use and features a convenient on/off switch for its patented “mandrel vacuum collection system,” according to the company. The removable mandrel collection bottle can also be quickly removed and emptied. Tips included are 3/16”, ¼” 3/16” Monobolt and ¼” Monobolt.
