Trelleborg Wheel Systems and Agco have signed a long-term agreement in which the two companies will cooperate in the development of agricultural tires.

As part of the new deal, Trelleborg brand ag tires will be fitted OE on some of Agco’s Challenger, Fendt, Massey-Ferguson and Valtra brand tractors.

“By sharing research and development tools and methods, the partnership between Trelleborg and Agco illustrates the desires of both companies to continue investing in specialization, focusing on innovation, quality and excellent customer service,” the companies said in a statement.

“The new partnership is a natural evolution of the experience both companies have gained and strengthens the positioning of both brands,” said Trelleborg OE director Stefano Bettinelli. “Its main objective is the development of innovative solutions that anticipate the needs of agricultural specialists.”
