Northwestern dealer marketing group Tire Factory announced record comparable-store sales growth in 2010.
According to CEO John Kreidel, comparable-store unit sales were up more than 20% and group member purchases were up more than 15% in 2010 vs. the year prior. Comparable-store sales and units are of those stores who have been a member of Tire Factory for at least one year.
Based in Portland, Ore., Tire Factory members operate more than 200 retail locations in 15 western states
“Our tremendous sales growth in a slow economy is due to bringing more value to our members who pass along the savings to their customers,” said Kreidel. “Tire Factory owners keep re-investing in their stores, the Tire Factory brand and their people to improve the customer experience and it is really paying off. Members have improved facilities this past year and focused their efforts on the most recognized tire brands.”
