Continental Tire the Americas has signed a multi-year agreement to sell Continental brand medium truck radials at TravelCenters of America and Petro Stopping Center sites throughout the U.S. and Canada.
The T/A and Petro network is comprised of more than 220 locations with truck maintenance and repair centers. Additionally, through TravelCenters of America’s RoadSquad program, emergency replacement tires are available 24/7/365 from more than 400 roadside assistance vehicles.
“In order to support our national fleet and owner-operator customers with greater distribution of Continental truck tires on the highway, we are happy to announce our strategic partnership with the TravelCenters of America and Petro Stopping Centers network,” said Paul Williams, CTA’s vice president of truck tires.
The agreement will allow more fleet and owner-operators to access replacement Continental truck tires where and when needed, “ensuring that they can get back on the road quickly to continue hauling freight across North America,” said Tom Fanning, CTA director of replacement truck tire sales.
“Our fleet customers, both large and small, count on the reliability of replacement Continental truck tires on a daily basis. Today, with our cooperation with TA, we are providing them with even greater availability of both products and services to help them control their driving costs across North America,” Fanning said.
