Purolator has launched a new consumer advertising and promotional campaign that it expects will generate a half-billion impressions.
The multi-million dollar, spring/summer campaign is designed to enhance consumer awareness for Purolator filtration products and generate pull-though sales for automotive parts retailers and repair shops.
The national ad campaign, which features the Purolator tag line “Keep It Pure,” includes TV, radio, print and online advertising. The integrated communications effort also includes public relations initiatives and social media crafted to reach do-it-yourselfers.
Purolator said the campaign also targets do-it-for-me motorists to encourage them to ask their repair shops to install Purolator filters at the time of service. It also supports the launch of Purolator’s traditional program with Group7 and ProMotive products featuring an innovative consolidated OEM design.
Purolator’s campaign also includes several different money-saving mail-in rebate programs. One program, which runs July 11 through Aug. 28, offers consumers a $6 rebate on any one Purolator PureONE air filter purchase and a $4 rebate on any Purolator Classic air filter purchase. Rebate forms are available from participating retailers and also online at purolatorfilters.net.
Also, through Oct. 30, Purolator is running a $50 Restaurant.com promotion. The mail-in rebate offer enables consumers to obtain a $50 voucher from Restaurant.com after they make a combined purchase of any Purolator PureONE oil filter and a Purolator PureONE or Purolator Classic air filter.
