Hercules Tires has added 16 new sizes to its Tour 4.0 Plus and Terra Trac A/T product lines, as well as one new size for the RoadtourXUV, which was introduced last month.
The Tour 4.0 Plus, an all-season tire with sidewall styling and tread design similar to the UHP tire segment, features silica tread compounding for traction in adverse conditions without sacrificing durability and longevity, Hercules said. New sizes include: 175/70R13, 195/70R14, 205/55R16, 195/75R14, 205/75R14, 205/75R15; 215/75R15, 215/70R16, 215/65R15, and 235/65R16.
Hercules said its No. 1 selling Terra Trac A/T is now available in the following additional sizes: LT275/65R20 E, LT305/55R20 E, LT285/70R17 E, 235/70R17 XL, 265/60R18 STD, and 305/50R20 XL. Size 275/65R18 STD is scheduled for availability in the fourth quarter, the tiremaker added.
The new Hercules RoadtourXUV is designed to offer all-weather performance, a quiet, smooth ride and, along with the Roadtour655, the best fuel efficiency in the Hercules line-up, according to the company. Size 235/65R18 has joined the existing lineup, with another seven sizes planned for the fourth quarter and early 2012.
