The initiative OE Code to Specification (OCTS) has been launched following the tradition of vehicle assemblers (VAs) to create new part numbers for discs that fit the same vehicle application types on shared platforms. In response to this and to counter the misconception of quality in aftermarket parts, Brembo will create a new part number for such applications. This, Brembo believes, will strengthen the aftermarket’s position in supplying OE quality braking products, fit to specification.
Twenty-nine new part numbers have been produced as part of the new initiative, which are listed in Brembo’s new disc and drums catalogue, also listing Easy Check and Brembo Max disc ranges.
The publication holds more than 1,400 part numbers, over 100 of which are new. Selecting a disc for a specific vehicle is simple and users identify the make model and year of a vehicle, before arriving at the correct part number.
