Federal-Mogul Corp. plans to relocate its headquarters in Southfield, Mich., to a neighboring suburb of Farmington Hills, according to reports.

The sole tenant of a 360,000-square-foot location, the automotive supplier plans to move its 700 employees smaller location. While the company is in negotiations for a lease, it is rumored the Federal-Mogul will occupy the four-building Arboretum Office Complex, with about half the space as its current headquarters.

Federal-Mogul, which cut several employees during the past few years, needs less space, spurring the move.
