ETI Taps Officers, New Board Members

Equipment and Tool Institute has named its 2008-09 officers and directors.

New officers include president Dave Schaar of SPX Service Solutions; vice president of programs Randy Gard of Chief Automotive Technologies; vice president of marketing Steve Gill of Alldata; secretary/treasurer Mike Cable of Hickok; and immediate past president John Wiedemann of JS Products.

New directors include Ben Johnson of Delphi; Dan Brass of JS Products; and Neil Davis of Snap-on Diagnostics.

Returning to the board are Richard Amador of Innova Electronics Corp.; Garret Miller of SPX Service Solutions; Sylvain Julien of Celette North America; Don Vanderheyden of Hennessy Industries; and Alan Tecmire of ETAS. (Tire Review/Akron)

Radar Tires signs multi-year contract with Singapore Golf Association

Omni United, under its flagship, Radar Tires brand, has signed a multi-year contract with the Singapore Golf Association (SGA). Under this partnership, touring professionals who have previously represented Singapore at an elite amateur level and recently turned professional will receive financial support for their training and competition-related expenses as they embark on the early stages of their professional careers, Omni United said.
