Colombia is Goodyear’s “leading choice” for its $560 million consumer tire plant, said Colombia’s national newspaper El Espectador.
Local media say the country as the leading choice for the new plant due to its continued macroeconomic progress, favorable foreign investment conditions, and central location on the continent and in relation to the U.S.
The company told El Espectador that no preferences exist and all options are open.
