The selected UK team will face tough competition from nine other teams representing Italy, The Netherlands, Austria, USA, Canada, Germany and Poland as they embark on the adventure of a lifetime.

Extreme sports enthusiasts, 4×4 drivers, adventure racers, triathletes, or anyone else who thinks they have got what it takes to pull a car, ski, snowshoe, climb and run, can apply at

Short-listed applicants will be invited to an initial selection event, which will be held at the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines in Devon. This will take place in June/July 2006. Up to five men and five women will be selected to compete in the final Fulda Challenge elimination event, which takes place in Sulden, Italy, in late September/early October 2006.
