CABA Elects 2011 Officers

Doug Meekins, general manager of Brooks Huff Tire and Auto in Baltimore, Md., was elected to serve as president for the 2011-2012 board of directors of the Chesapeake Automotive Business Association (CABA). The appointment was made at the association’s annual membership meeting in October.

Meekins will begin his 2-year term as president Nov. 13. Other CABA officers for 2011-2012 include: Immediate Past President Bill Cropper, president of Salisbury Automotive Inc. in Salisbury, Md.; First Vice President Vernon Lyon, general manager of Mainline Automotive Parts Corp. in Baltimore; Second Vice President Rob Wilson, vice president of Admiral Tire in Bowie, Md.; and Secretary/Treasurer Bob Wilson, president of Edgewater Tire Centers in Annapolis, Md.

Other members of the CABA board include John Obradovic, industry consultant, of Severna Park, Md.; Ralph Schissler, owner of Atlantic Tire, Baltimore; Paul Warner, sales manager of Uniselect, Crofton, Md.; Bryan Smith, representative, Standard Motor Products, Reisterstown, Md.; and Chris Lilly, sales manager at Admiral Tire Wholesale in Annapolis, Md.
