ATS Euromaster Wins ≤4.5 Million Lease Contract

(Staffordshire, U.K./Tyres & Accessories) ATS Euromaster has been appointed by ING Car Lease, one of the top 10 fleet operators in the U.K. long-term contract lease market, to supply Michelin tyres and associated ‘fast-fit’ services across its 46,000-strong vehicle fleet.

The deal – estimated to be worth £4.5 million per year – was won following a comprehensive tendering process.

Bryan Stringer, operations dDirector of ING Car Lease, which acquired Appleyard Vehicle Contracts last year, says: “The principal factors which led to us appointing ATS Euromaster were their ability to offer an outstanding quality of service and value to our customers, coupled with our desire to fit a premium tyre brand such as Michelin.

“The new contract includes regular fleet tyre checks carried out by ATS Euromaster technicians, to ensure that stringent Duty of Care requirements are met, coupled with added-value services such as mobile tyre fitting and free vehicle health checks,” he adds.

The 10-point vehicle health checks are the most comprehensive of their type offered by any fast-fit network in the U.K., and are available to all ING Car Lease customers visiting ATS Euromaster centres. Each inspection takes approximately 15 minutes and covers tyre-tread depth, tyre condition, tyre pressure, primary brake inspection, battery, exhaust, shock absorbers, oil, lights and windscreen wipers and screen-wash levels.

ING Car Lease customers also benefit from access to ATS Euromaster’s fleet of 1,200 mobile service vans, which can be booked for mobile tyre fitting anywhere in the country. This enables customers to have new tyres fitted at a time and location to suit, such as their home or place of work, with pre-bookable appointments available.

The ING Car Lease fleet includes approximately 7,000 light commercial vehicles, whose drivers benefit from ATS Euromaster’s unique ability to accommodate even the largest 3.5 tonne high roof panel van in any of its centres across the U.K.
