Kwik-Fit Launches New-Look Website and Text Services

(Staffordshire, U.K./Tyres & Accessories) Kwik-Fit, Britain’s number one fleet and retail fast-fit specialist, has launched new-look fleet and retail Web sites and a locate-a-centre text service.

Kwik-fit.com details the independent fast-fit chain’s service and gives comprehensive information on tyre safety and reducing your transport carbon footprint through the company’s ‘Go Green’ initiative.

The site also provides an online MoT and service booking facility so drivers can take advantage of the two of the most recent additions to Kwik-Fit’s plethora of services. In fact, Kwik Fit is now the country’s largest chain of car servicing specialists and Vehicle and Operator Services Agency-approved MoT testing centres.

Additionally a ‘Tyre Search’ facility on both the company’s fleet and retail sites enables fleet operators and drivers to book an appointment at their local Kwik Fit centre or with Kwik Fit Mobile to fit tyres on their car or van.

Meanwhile, all motorists, including company car and van drivers, can take advantage of a recently launched text service to enable them to locate their nearest Kwik-Fit centre. By texting KWIK to 81025 drivers are sent the contact details of their nearest centre direct to their mobile phone.

Head of Kwik-Fit Fleet Mike Wise said: “The fleet division receives up to 500 calls a week from drivers looking for their nearest centre. The text service is a new addition to our portfolio and is already proving fast and efficient for both drivers and ourselves.

“The new-look Web site provides a one-stop shop of information for drivers, not only detailing the ever-expanding range of services provided by Kwik-Fit but also a huge amount of information on vehicle care and best practice in terms of road safety and protecting the environment. We will continue to add functionality to both websites as we bring new services to both the corporate and retail markets.”
