Expanded Dunlop Maxxed Out Awards Set

(Akron/Tire Review) Goodyear’s Dunlop brand group plans to announced the winners of its fourth annual Maxxed Out Awards during the upcoming SEMA Show.

The awards will be presented at 11 a.m. on Wed., Oct. 31 at Dunlop’s booth at SEMA.

The Maxxed Out Award categories include: VIP-style sedans, import and domestic performance cars for the street, race-prepped vehicles, the best wheel and tire combination, and the most spectacular creation on Dunlop tires, the overall Maxxed Out award.

“We’re looking for the ultimate in ‘maxxed out’ style and performance,” said Gary Medalis, general manager for Dunlop. “Through these awards, Dunlop celebrates the artistry and all-out performance created by the people who personalize their vehicles to reflect their personalities and attitudes.”

Tekmetric introduces new tire management feature

With the add-on, shops can send Department of Transportation (DOT) identification and access tire specifications.

Tekmetric recently introduced Tekmetric Tire Suite, which it said streamlines tire management for auto repair and tire shops alike. The Tekmetric Tire Suite integrates tire management tasks within the Tekmetric software, the company said. With the add-on, shops can send Department of Transportation (DOT) identification and access tire specifications all without leaving the Tekmetric app.
