AME International – Working Closely with Customers

U.S.-based tyre-changing tool and equipment supplier AME International brought to Singapore a product portfolio that includes bead breakers, hydraulic pumps, the ‘X-tend’ pneumatic tyre spreader and the Titan Pro Series of tyre tools and garage equipment.

"We pride ourselves on working closely with our customers in order to provide them with the products that best suit their needs," said AME president, Keith Jarman. "The tools we produce are manufactured using the very latest technology, thereby ensuring the highest possible standards of quality."

Keith Jarman, who has over 20 years experience in the industry and is a recognised authority in tyre bead breaking technology, spoke realistically when discussing the current global economic slump. "AME’s domestic market has held up surprisingly well. However, as our company mainly focuses on international markets, where most economies have taken a battering recently, it would be foolish of me to say that it has not had some unwanted consequences. Our overall global customer base remains strong; it is the volume of goods being ordered that has naturally been affected. Despite this we remain optimistic and continue to open up new avenues of business.

"AME International will continue to introduce new products; we recently successfully launched a simple to use and highly cost-effective wheel nut tool, which we call the ‘Rollock’, no pun intended.  For use on 19.5- and 22.5-inch hub-piloted wheels, it is an inexpensive way to guarantee that wheel nuts stay in place."
