Before joining the tire industry, she worked as a producer and reporter at the Louisville Courier Journal. Members of the Ohio Tire & Auto Association cheered on the Columbus Blue Jackets hockey team during an outing March 1 at Nationwide Area. Tire dealers and tire professionals from across Ohio enjoyed mingling with each other, watching the game and being able to get together for an in-person event.
During the event, some dealers got the chance to get up close to the ice and sit in front of the glass during the game, in which the Blue Jackets beat the New Jersey Devils, 4-3.

At one of its South Florida NTW distribution centers, as well as TBC Corp.'s Palm Beach Gardens corporate offices, TBC employees recently had the opportunity to show their children the ins and outs of the company's role in the tire industry during "Take Your Child to Work Day." The kids had a jam-packed day learning about tires, taking photos, doing media research, and even eating lunch with the company's new CEO, Don Byrd.
