Robert Bosch LLC has added the Bosch Double Iridium Spark Plug to its OE Fine Wire Spark Plug series.
“The new Bosch Double Iridium Spark Plug represents the latest and best in OE fine wire technology,” said Tim Stumpff, senior product manager, at Bosch’s North American automotive aftermarket division. “Its ultra-fine wire design and laser-welded tapered ground electrode help deliver increased performance, while the iridium firing pin and ground electrode inlay provide four times longer service life compared to standard copper core plugs.”
Bosch’s Double Iridium Spark Plug’s design provides better ignitability and performance, while also promoting a longer service life, Bosch said.
Additionally, the spark plug is compatible with engines that are turbo charged or have gasoline direct injection (GDI) systems.
