Love’s Travel Stops Raises Funds for Children’s Miracle Network

Love’s Travel Stops have raised $2.15 million for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals during a five-week in-store campaign. More than 350 stores in 40 states participated by hosting bake sales, golf tournaments, 5K runs and more to raise a record-setting amount in Love’s 17-year history of supporting the Children’s Miracle Network.

“We’re proud of the employees who pour their energy into the campaign,” said Jenny Love Meyer, vice president of communications for Love’s. “Many hundreds of store employees volunteer their time in fundraisers for five weeks while taking care of our customers. Their dedication is essential along with the continued support of our customers, without whom we wouldn’t be able to support such a great cause at this level.”

From Aug. 25-Sept. 30, Love’s team members sold CMN Hospitals’ Miracle Balloons for donations and organized numerous events, the company said.

Since it started raising funds for the Children’s Miracle Network, Love’s has raised more than $14 million for the non-profit. Of the 170 Children’s Miracle Networks in North American, 96 benefit from Love’s annual campaign.
