Monroe Ride & Drive Program Expects Record Year

In its 14th year, Tenneco’s Monroe Ride & Drive program is expected to attract a record number of attendees. MonroeRAD

The Monroe Ride & Drive program provides undercar training designed to increase confidence in the inspection and replacement of ride control components, according to Tenneco.

“The Monroe Ride & Drive program continues to provide our trade partners with a strong foundation in identifying the characteristics and differences of worn versus properly functioning ride control components and how these components may impact overall vehicle safety,” said Chuck Osgood, manager of training and sales operations. “This truly helps drive confidence in the service bay and at the counter when speaking with customers, and the result of this training can be seen directly in the bottom line.”

The program is taught by Monroe training experts and features a two-part curriculum with classroom and hands-on sessions. Additionally, attendees can complete the Monroe “Quick-Strut Challenge,” in which participants are invited to install a Quick Strut replacement assembly on a 2001 Toyota Camry, Tenneco said.

The 2015 tour will include 47 different events across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.
