TIA Revises OTR Conference Program

TIA revised its 2014 OTR Conference program from previous years’ events.

The conference, which runs Feb. 19-22, opens with session at 3 p.m. Feb. 19 followed by a kick-off gathering. A general session on OTR production numbers is scheduled for the morning with the afternoon dedicated to golf on Feb. 20. The next day’s general session will include the keynote address and the motivational speaker, followed by the networking lunch and breakout sessions in the afternoon, with a gala dinner that evening. The conference will conclude Feb. 22 in the morning with the farewell breakfast and golf awards.

“The earlier end time on Saturday will allow for additional opportunities for attendees to set up meetings with customers or to enjoy all of the amenities and beach activities the resort has to offer,” said Tom Formanek, TIA events committee chair.

The conference, hosted at the Marco Island Marriott Resort & Golf Club near Naples, Fla., is accepting registrations. The early bird rate, available through Aug. 31, is $395 for the first registrant and $325 for additional registrants if a registered TIA member. Fees will increase to $425 for the first registrant and $355 for the second registrant, starting Sept. 1.

To register, visit www.tiaindustry.org and click the “events” section. Reservations for rooms at the Marco Island Marriott can be made by calling 1-800-GET-HERE (438-4373). Mention the TIA/OTR Conference to receive the group rate.
