Pirelli Enters Agreement With Brembo, Magneti Marelli

Pirelli, along with Italian brake systems specialist Brembo and technology systems manufacturer Magneti Marelli, has announced the commencement of a cooperative technological agreement.

The aim of this joint work, says Pirelli, is to develop leading edge solutions for the Italian and international automotive industry.

Under this project, Pirelli’s intelligent ‘Cyber Tyre’ will be integrated with Magneti Marelli electronic control systems and Brembo braking systems in order to achieve specific performance and safety related technological solutions. Pirelli states that a particular focus for the parties will be the development of applications in the area of vehicle safety systems, along with reducing environmental impact in line with international regulations and the European Union CO2 emissions limits set to enter into force in 2012. Trelleborg to demonstrate its Brawler solid tire line at WasteExpo 2024

The Brawler range includes both press-on and mold-on tires for wheel loaders, skid steers, material handlers, excavators and telehandlers.

Trelleborg Tires will be at WasteExpo 2024, exhibiting in booth 2273 at the Las Vegas Convention Center May 7-9. Trelleborg said it will demonstrate the benefits of its Brawler solid tire line up at the show.

According to Trelleborg, in the waste and recycling industry, operational challenges are amplified by the demanding environments of waste transfer stations and recycling facilities. The company said these conditions require tire solutions that can withstand severe operational stress to minimize downtime caused by tire changes or failures.
