The scholarships are part of a leadership scholarship donated by Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket. The Continental Female Leadership Award is available to Northwood University female students to participate in the biennial summit in Washington, D.C.
"These students are excited to participate, honored by the distinction and grateful to AAIA and Continental," said Robert Sundwick, professor and chairman of the Automotive Aftermarket Management department at the Florida campus of Northwood University. "This is a unique opportunity that helps encourage female participation in the automotive aftermarket industry, as well as provides a real world understanding of the legislative process and the importance of industry involvement."
Online registration for the 2009 Aftermarket Legislative Summit is now available at www.aftermarket.org or contact Cael Pulitzer at 301-654-6664 or e-mail [email protected]. The registration deadline is Feb. 15. (Tire Review/Akron)
