The team from Emanuel Tire took top spot in the 41st annual Chesapeake Automotive Business Association golf outing.
The team of Ron Carr, Len Harris, Bobby Paschall and Mark Rannie posted a 13-under par round during the June 10 event, held at Compass Point Golf Club in Pasadena, Md.
Second place at 9-under par went to the foursome of Lee Scaggs (Michelin North America), Walt Buettner (TBC Corp.), Pat Sweeney (East Coast Tire Kingdom in Havre De Grace, Md.) and Dan Walters (Tire Village of Bel Air, Md.).
The S&M Auto Supply team of Stan Stern, Mike Frieman, Bob Hillerson and Jeff Yingling placed third, also scoring a 9-under par 63.
A total of 84 golfers enjoyed the event, which featured more than $1,000 in prizes and gifts, lunch and a steak dinner.
In return, participants raised money to help support CABA’s education programs, highlighted each winter with CABA Education Days, a series of mostly-advanced technical seminars delivered by some of the most accomplished aftermarket service instructors in North America.
