The first major exhibitors at the inaugural Tyrexpo India, to be held in Chennai July 5-7, 2011, have been announced.
Exhibition organizer ECI International states that Balkrishna Tyres (BKT), Elgi Rubber and Omni United have become the first major companies to commit to supporting the inaugural staging of the new tire and equipment exhibition.
ECI says the ground-breaking event reflects India’s fast-growing importance and influence in the global tire, rubber and equipment market.
“We are talking to many other Indian and international suppliers in the tire, rubber, retreading, equipment and accessories markets about the show and have been very pleased at the high level of interest shown and bookings to date,” said Paul Farrant, managing director of ECI International.
ECI is the company behind international tire and equipment events in Singapore, Johannesburg and Manchester, U.K. “We know there is enormous interest in doing business in India and we hope that Tyrexpo India will become the focal point for a truly international trade exhibition.
