AskPatty.com Certification Earned by Two More Dealers

Two more U.S. tire dealers have become certified by the AskPatty.com for Tire Dealers education, certification and marketing program.

Sandy, Utah’s Alta View Tires and Service and Southern California’s Mountain View Tire & Service have joined a fast-growing list of North American dealers who have become Certified Female Friendly Tire and Service Centers under the program.

The AskPatty.com Certified Female Friendly Tire and Service Centers program was developed jointly by AskPatty.com and Tire Review magazine, and is available to tire retailers across North America.

"Over 60% of the customers at Alta View Tires & Service are women,” said owner Tom Lund. “We realize this male-dominated industry needs to better communicate and understand the needs of women. Alta View Tires & Service is happy to have found a partner in AskPatty.com that can provide the training and support to enhance the experience our female customers receive.”

“We are extremely proud and excited to be a part of the AskPatty.com network,” said Mountain View vice president Mike Mitsos. “This program is exactly what the tire and automotive industry has been lacking and needs desperately. Women consumers are vital to the success of our business. We understand we can spend a lifetime building customers, but takes just an instant to scare them away. AskPatty.com provides our employees a training platform, the understanding and the knowledge on how to better serve women’s needs in the world of automotive repair, tires and maintenance.”

Mountain View has certified all 29 of its Southern California locations.

To become AskPatty.com Certified Female Friendly, personnel at both dealerships completed an extensive training program on how to best serve women. Further, the employees will participate in year-round instruction to enhance their awareness, appreciation, and commitment to a female-friendly service experience. Alta View Tires and Mountain View will also benefit from a unique marketing support program designed to reach out and build lasting relationships with women customers.

In conjunction with AskPatty.com, both dealers have launched female-focused micro-websites that provides the tools and resources most requested by women. The micro-sites give women the ability to schedule service appointments, access coupons and discounts, and learn more about car buying and maintenance online from the comfort of their home or office.
