Brityrex Does the Business for Beissbarth

(Clacton, U.K./Tyres & Accessories) Brityrex International 2007 received a big boost in the new year when Beissbarth UK reserved a stand area of 85 square metres – the largest exhibition stand in the company's history.

Philip Hodges, managing director of Beissbarth UK, explained that 2007 will see the U.K. launch of the Beissbarth Touchless wheel aligner in the U.K. As the name suggests, this is a completely no-contact alignment system – the first of its kind in the world, the company said – and one which Hodges believes will have a major impact on wheel alignment in the U.K.

“We want a showcase that reflected the importance of this new technology,” said Hodges, “hence the size of our stand.” Beissbarth will also be showing some of the many tyre changers and wheel balancers from its extensive range of equipment.

Obviously the timing of Brityrex International made it a convenient stage for the debut of Touchless, but why else did Beissbarth choose this particular exhibition? Said Hodges: “At the 2005 show, we were impressed by the quality of the visitors to our stand – people had gone to Brityrex to do business and that is exactly what we were looking for.”

There was another reason too – the fact that Brityrex International is a dedicated tyre show was a major consideration. “By organising and staging Brityrex, ECI International have demonstrated a commitment to the U.K. tyre industry,” Hodges explains, adding: “That is a commitment shared 100% by Beissbarth UK and we are pleased to give the event our support, plus we look forward to what I am sure will be a commercially successful show for us.”
