Software Firm Launches New Products, Enhancements

(Akron/Tire Review) ASA Tire Systems released two new products – TireMaster POS and version 7.3.0 of its TireMaster software – and initiated a special introductory price for the all-new TireMaster POS product.

ASA said for a limited time, it is offering the TireMaster POS software for $995, less than a third of its original $2,995 price, ASA said.

TireMaster POS, said ASA, was developed to meet tire dealer requests for a tire specific budget-priced software option. ASA said TireMaster POS software is the standard TireMaster system and offers dealers the option to upgrade to the full system later.

ASA said version 7.3.0 of its TireMaster software “adds increased functionality for all users,” including advanced accounting functions with recurring journal entries, customer color-coding for POS, advanced work order status indicator , improved national and government account processing, and enhanced work order handling.

During the recent SEMA Show, ASA released an add-on product to its TireMaster software. The TireMaster Inventory Exchange Program creates an inventory availability pool between separately owned tire dealer stores operating on TireMaster.

ASA said the add-on is “great for friendly competitors” and “allows tire dealers to share inventory information and view inventory quantity available at other stores.” The feature was developed to help dealers decrease lost sales due to inventory shortages.

Dave Duchesne, vice president of sales for ASA tire Systems, said, “With the TireMaster Inventory Exchange, our customers now have the ability to leverage their relationships with other dealers in the area, ensuring that they will be able to meet the needs of the customer on the other side of the counter. Even if they are out of stock, they can instantly find the tire and not lose the sale.”
