Federated Insurance Hosting Risk Management Academy

Federated Insurance is hosting a rick management academy for tire dealers.

The two and a half day seminar is designed specifically for owners and key employees who are responsible for implementing risk management strategies at their tire dealership. The agenda includes hiring, screening and retaining employees, claims handling, employment-related liability practices, major losses in the tire industry and more.

The seminar is scheduled for May 18-20 at Federated’s headquarters in Owatonna, Minn. Since Federal is the preferred provider of business and workers’ compensation insurance for the Tire Industry Association, the seminar is free for TIA members. Attendees are responsible for the cost of travel, lodging and meals.

“This is an excellent opportunity for TIA members to learn to prevent losses that are chipping away at the bottom line. Participants will also have the chance to connect with industry peers who are facing similar challenges,” said TIA Executive Vice President Roy Littlefield.

Space for the academy is limited. To register, contact Royetta Spurgeon at 507-455-5604 or [email protected] or visit www.federatedinsurance.com.
