Toyo Tire & Rubber has announced a string of new appointments, all effective Nov. 1.
Akira Nobuki has been tapped as chairman and will step down as company president. This move, according to Toyo, increases the number of representative directors from two to three in order to strengthen the management system with Toyo’s growth and expansion. Takuji Yamamoto and Tetsuya Kuze have also been named as representative directors.
Yamamoto will also fill Nobuki’s position as president and will relinquish his duties as executive corporate officer to Kuze. Additionally, Kuze will take on Sadao Ichihara’s role as general manager of Toyo’s corporate planning division.
