TireWare Launches MyTireMonkey Site

TireWare has introduced a new Web site to help consumers price, locate and order new tires, as well as arrange for their installation with local dealers.

Mytiremonkey.com is the first site of its kind designed to be an online marketplace that allows quoting and ordering of tires directly out of a dealer’s inventory at each store location, according to TireWare.

Dealers may subscribe to MyTireMonkey whether or not they are a current TireWare POS customer. While the service costs the consumer nothing, dealers are charged a small monthly subscription fee, the company said.

TireWare President and CEO Tully Ryan said, "The majority of independent dealers are not attracting ‘Internet’ consumers. Every day, they are facing increased competition from car dealerships, big box retailers and Internet wholesalers. The Internet wholesalers are diminishing dealers’ involvement with consumers to be strictly tire installers. We decided to help independent dealers be more competitive over the Internet."

As a promotion to celebrate the launch of mytiremonkey.com, the company is offering an early adopter program. Registering is free and dealers receive the first 5 consumer requests-for-quote free. By registering now, the subscription fee is only $39.95 a month per location, a $10 a month per location savings, TireWare said. (Tire Review/Akron)
