Tire Pros, a subsidiary of American Tire Distributors, will host 50 “Think Tank Discussions” throughout the U.S. this spring.
Think Tank Discussions are small, dealer-led meetings that focus on operational issues and common challenges dealers face every day, Tire Pros said. Additionally, the discussions help Tire Pros dealers share ideas and practices in order to learn from one another.
This year’s Think Tanks, entitled “Be the Hunter, Not the Hunted,” are designed to help dealers grow their business, market share and maximize sales opportunities with an updated sales toolbox, Tire Pros said.
“The Think Tanks have proven to be extremely popular with Tire Pros dealers and have become the number one plank within our training platform,” said Dan Brown, president of Tire Pros. “They represent ‘conversational training’ and a sharing of best practices learned by individual dealers through the ‘school of hard knocks.’ The benefit to the dealer can be more immediate than information gathered from a category expert through the traditional classroom format.”
Tire Pros kicked off its first Think Tank in late March and will continue the through May. The events will be hosted at various ATD distribution centers and other locations nationwide.
