Renault Retail Adding 9 Fast Fit Facilities in 2008

The Renault Retail Group has plans to add nine new fast-fit branches to its network during 2008 following the success of existing Renault Retail sites across the UK.

The 100% Renault owned network can provide motorists with a range of products and services, including tyres, brake pads, shock absorbers and oil changes.

The first Renault Minute fast fit facilities were installed in the group’s flagship London West, Birmingham and Manchester branches, and subsequently the company’s London city, London East, Cardiff, Leicester, Cannock, Liverpool and Bolton sites were also upgraded accordingly. This year’s expansion will now cover the Renault Retail dealerships at Oldham, Wirral, Swansea, Wolverhampton, Slough, Watford, Orpington, Dartford, and Croydon.

According to Renault Retail, the addition of fast fit facilities at the new sites is one of the ways it will improve its after sales service as outlined by the Renault Commitment 2009. Ian Plummer, managing director, Renault Retail Group said: “Renault Minute is an integral part of Renault Retail as the fast-fit service arm is vital to help improve both profit and customer service standards in after sales and reflects the direction the service business is taking.

“Our private and business customers are finding that time is at a premium, so the fast-fit option meets a growing need for a flexible and convenient level of service desired by customers. These additional Renault Minute outlets will ensure existing sites are even more efficient, using available land to best effect and ensuring we continue to give our customers – and staff – the right experience.” (Tyres & Accessories/Staffordshire, U.K.)
