Pep Boys has launched another weapon to capture tire and service business, signing with Distribution Service Technologies to "hot shot" online tire ordering and delivery to automotive businesses.
With Pep Express eCommerce, the commercial division of Pep Boys will offer fast delivery of tires, parts, tools, shop equipment and additional merchandise. Pep Boys now claims it is the “only parts supplier to offer tires for ‘hot shot’ delivery through a website that includes photographs for tread pattern matching.”
