GTE Exhibitors Up from Last Year

The total number of registered exhibitors for the 2013 Global Tire Expo, held in conjunction with the SEMA Show, already exceeds last year, according to TIA.

The total number of registered exhibitors for the 2013 Global Tire Expo, held in conjunction with the SEMA Show, already exceeds last year, according to TIA.

“To see that we have already exceeded last year’s numbers just shows how excited the industry is for this year’s Expo,” said Roy Littlefield, TIA executive vice president. “GTE is a the gathering place for the tire industry and there is no better place to network, see what’s new, and keep your business moving forward.”

To date, 255 tire companies from around the globe have signed up to exhibit, with 52 of those being first-time exhibitors. Stats from 2012’s GTE showed that 90% of buyers attending GTE planned to buy a product or service from an exhibitor in the 12 months following the show.

“These are some very strong numbers. The data clearly shows that buyers are making decisions based on what they are seeing at the show and therefore, the number of exhibitors continues to increase each year,” Littlefield said.

The SEMA Show runs Nov. 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center; the GTE portion of the show will be housed in the center’s South Hall. For more information, visit www.tireindustry.org.
