CTNA Sets 2008Gold Dealer Program

Continental Tire North America has outlined its 2008 dealer program.

“The Gold Program continues to be the cornerstone for Continental’s focus on the needs of the independent tire dealer,” said Travis Roffler, CTNA’s director of marketing. “New for 2008, the Gold program is offering four unique levels of Gold. Dealers can now choose the Gold level that best meets the needs of their businesses.”

According to Roffler, Gold dealers receive cash back on all purchases from CTNA, with Quarterly Cash Rewards earned on a per tire basis for total purchases and paid quarterly when program commitment is achieved.

For 2008, the program has four levels: Gold Elite, Gold Select, Gold Standard and Gold Express.

Tire dealers who agree to purchase 300 units annually are eligible for Gold Cash Rewards. Express dealers receive $2.50 for every Continental and $1.50 for every General brand purchased.

Gold Standard, Select and Elite benefits include cash rewards (Elite: $4.50 – Continental, $3.50 – General; Select: $4.50 – Conti, $3.50 – General; Standard: $3.50 – Conti, $2.50 – General); a customized start-up kit; 3×1-foot lighted brand signs; customized showroom components; training and certification; customized menu boards; dealer locator listing; and access to CTNA’s ContiLink.com dealer support Web site.

Gold Elite dealers who agree to purchase 1,800 or more units by Dec. 31, 2008 also become eligible for CTNA’s annual Gold incentive trip for two. (Tire Review/Akron)
