Bridgestone Americas reshuffled the commercial tire unit deck once again, creating what it termed "an integrated mining tire business unit" while also making changes to its commercial tire group.
The new “Bridgestone Mining Solutions” unit combines the company’s mining tire sales, service and sales engineering, and a select group of U.S. and Canadian stores into one group.
Shawn Rasey will lead the new unit as vice president of Bridgestone Mining Solutions. Prior, he had been president of Bridgestone Americas’ OTR unit.
In addition, Bridgestone made several personnel changes “to strengthen structural clarity, efficiency and profitability” in its commercial tire efforts.
John Boynton was promoted to vice president of sales for TBR, retread and construction tires. Doyle Bradford was named vice president of sales and operations for its company-owned operations. Stacey Simmons was named to the new post of director of strategic planning.
