Bridgestone OE on Nissan Rogue Family Package

Bridgestone Americas announced that its Ecopia H/L 422 Plus run-flat technology is original equipment on select 2014 Nissan Rogue vehicles.

The tire is included with the available third row Family Package on 2014 Rogue S and SV models, Bridgestone said.

The Ecopia H/L 422 Plus RFT features Bridgestone’s run-flat technology, allowing temporary mobility for a distance up to 50 miles at a maximum speed of 50 mph after experiencing a total loss of air pressure, the tiremaker said. It also offers drivers dry, wet and all-season traction in these conditions.

Original equipment on the 2014 Nissan Rogue will be size P225/65RF17 100H.

TBC Corp. names COO for TBC Brands, TBC International

TBC Corporation appointed Bill Schafer to the role of chief operating officer for TBC Brands and TBC International. Schafer will report directly to TBC Corporation’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Don Byrd, and will oversee all TBC Brands and TBC International sales initiatives, including customer service, commercial tire sales, equipment and non-tire sales, and operations, according to TBC.
