Big O Tires announced it will continue its commitment to veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces through its Vet Fran Program, which waives the $30,000 franchise fee for qualified veterans when opening their initial Big O Tires franchise.
"We understand that veterans face many challenges returning to civilian life, especially in workforce development," said Kevin Kormondy, executive vice president and COO of Big O Tires. "It is our goal to help lessen that burden by providing them with the opportunity to be their own boss and run a successful, well-supported business."
Big O added that it assists new franchisees with everything from site selection and financing to build-out and grand opening. The franchise offers protected market areas as well as ongoing support with product and service selection, national marketing support, and training.
Big O, a subsidiary of TBC Corp., serves more than 400 franchised and company-owned stores, primarily in the western and midwestern U.S.; it also distributes tires and automotive service products to Associate Dealers in Western Canada.
