Groupe Michelin has signed two 10-year supply contracts with airline companies Air France and KLM.
Michelin brand tires will be fitted to some 425 aircraft operated both by the Air France-KLM Group and by other airlines for which Air France and KLM provide maintenance services, including 37 Boeing B777-300 ERs, 66 Boeing B737-NGs, 145 Airbus A320s and three Airbus A380s.
These contracts are invoiced on a per-landing basis, Michelin said.
With the add-on, shops can send Department of Transportation (DOT) identification and access tire specifications.
