ATD Names ‘Critical Vendors’ in Chapter 11 Filing
With more than $600 million in debt to its top vendors, American Tire Distributors (ATD) and its subsidiaries have been granted interim permission by the court to allow them to pay back some of that debt to “critical vendors” during its Chapter 11 restructuring.

Preliminary anti-dumping duties for certain passenger and light truck tires imported from China were set Jan. 21, 2015, by the Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration. The duty rates vary between 19.17% and 87.99% before adjustments.
